President / Chairman
|
Raised in Ohio and California, Brad Listermann showed entrepreneurial skills early on, becoming a successful business owner at the ripe age of fifteen. After studying at the University of Cincinnati and serving in the Navy, Brad managed statewide fitness clubs for Scandinavian Health Spas where he soon thereafter entered the financial industry as an investment broker and became the national leader in sales as a million dollar plus producer. In 1990 Brad founded his own investment banking firm, NetStreet Financial, Inc. to assist various companies and investors with tens of millions of dollars in financing. Brad married a Bollywood Indian Film Star and was introduced to international filmmaking and financing. Because of his deep passion for movies, he then sold NetStreet to work as a financial consultant for the entertainment industry.
Brad studied at a Hollywood film school, previously attended by A-list directors Quentin Tarantino and Guy Ritchie, before moving on to produce My Bollywood Bride with Executive Producer, Duncan Clark (head of Universal Pictures Distribution) and Doug Falconer (head of PME Films). For his feature film debut, Brad was awarded the Stella Artois "Best New Filmmaker Award", "Best Producer" and "Best of Fest" at the 2006 Palm Springs International Film Festival among others.
Today, Brad often consults with other filmmakers to assist them with the challenges of independent filmmaking so prevalent today. In addition, Brad is CEO of WorldFlix, Inc., a soon to be publicly traded company, and in the middle of producing several films, including Allegra and The Glen Heggstad Project. Both upcoming films play an integral part in Brad's mission to produce movies that reach a wide audience by, first, entertaining and, second, presenting positive and constructive social messages.
