Nicole Spaar
VP of Business Development

Swiss born and raised, Nicole Spaar is a creative documentary and feature film producer, producer/programmer and director of film festivals as well as a passionate photographer. While living in Switzerland, she studied film history and theory at the University of Zurich. She then went on to market and distribute Hollywood films to the European market. Also U.S. educated, she moved to Los Angeles and graduated from UCLA with a degree in film production and cinematography. Since her arrival in the States, she has produced or acted as Programming Director of various film festivals including the "Other Venice Film Festival", "Moondance International Film Festival", "Silverlake Film Festival" and "Artivist Film Festival" where she premiered hit documentaries such as BORN INTO BROTHELS, THE CORPORATION and SUPERSIZE ME.

Upcoming summer 2008, Ms. Spaar is scheduled to direct the "Other Venice Film Festival" in its 5th year. Furthermore, Nicole has been involved in producing documentaries for high profile clients such as the "United Nations". She, too, worked on Jessica Yu's latest theatrically released documentary THE PROTAGONIST and production managed the documentary FIELDS OF FUEL, a "Sundance Film Festival" 2008 entry.

On the independent feature film side, Ms. Spaar has worked on the several million dollar theatrical release MY BOLLYWOOD BRIDE as post production- and release coordinator and, most recently, has been able to help independent filmmakers as a consultant. Currently, she's holding the position of the Vice President of Business Development at WorldFlix, Inc., a 2008 soon-to-be publicly traded Internet Multi-Media, Production and Distribution Company.
